BETA Network supports the promotion of Construction Startup Competition 2024

The BETA Network has teamed up with Cemex Ventures to support in the promotion of Construction Startup Competition 2024 hosted by Cemex Ventures, Caterpillar, Dysruptek by Haskell, Ferrovial, Hilti, VINCI Group’s Leonard, NOVA by Saint-Gobain, Trimble, and Zacua Ventures.

At BETA, we’re always on the lookout for innovative collaborations that push boundaries and drive positive change across the built environment. Combining BETA’s expertise in fostering and nurturing tech-driven startups with the Competition partners’ global leadership in sustainable and digital construction innovation, together we will help groundbreaking startups gain access to industry-leading expertise and the chance to win investment.

Since its first edition in 2017, startups from more than 80 countries have participated in Construction Startup Competition, the biggest challenge aimed at startups in the construction industry. Many entrepreneurs have gone on to collaborate with the host companies after applying to the competition. Given the global reach of its partners, the 2024 edition expects to see an increase in the number of applications, identify the most innovative solutions around the world, continue growing the Contech ecosystem and begin agile adoption of applicants’ innovative technologies and business models. The values set out by Construction Startup Competition align with BETA’s mission to empower startups and drive progress across the industry.

BETA and the host companies of Construction Startup Competition will be co-hosting an event together in London on June 5 during Digital Construction Week 2024 to celebrate the open call for Construction Startup Competition 2024. Register your interest here.

The event will see executive representatives from the Competition partner companies meet with ConTech founders, construction industry leaders and other investors across the space. The event will be an evening of high-profile networking with industry leaders from both traditional construction businesses, ConTech founders and investors.

“The Construction Startup Competition is a great chance to attract a variety of promising and innovative opportunities from the Contech & Cleantech ecosystems (quality deal flow). Since 2017, Cemex Ventures, together with other partners, has supported multiple start-ups globally both from a business and investment perspective and is planning to continue the same path in 2024. This program is definitely a turning point for the entrepreneurs willing to raise capital, find commercial opportunities and most certainly boost their solutions to the next level.”
